We're starting to emerge from Winter, and if you look in any clothing shop right now warm Spring has already sprung. Spring is the perfect time to refresh your wardrobe with vibrant and uplifting colour combinations. Whether you're looking to make a bold statement or add subtle pops of colour, these gorgeous pairings will help you embrace the season's energy and warmth. And if you’ve had a personal colour analysis, you’ll already know exactly which shades are the perfect match for you!

Pastel Pink and Mint Green

Pastel colours come back around every Spring, and the gentle pairing of pastel pink and mint green has a fresh and youthful charm. Try a mint green midi skirt with a pastel pink blouse. To finish the look, accessorise with delicate layered jewellery and pink Mary Jane flats. The soft tones are perfect for a Spring picnic or a casual day out.

Purple and Tangerine

Purple and tangerine are a bold and vibrant combo – ideal if you want to make a statement. Try an orange graphic T-shirt layered under a purple blazer with wide-leg jeans. Use the stylist’s pro trick of ‘sandwich styling’ to polish the outfit off with a colour pop in the form of orange or purple trainers. Keep the rest of the look minimal with accessories in a neutral tone to balance the intensity of the bright colours.

Navy Blue and Lime Green

Lime green is not for the faint-hearted! If you’re a little colour shy, experiment with lime green accessories such as a hair scrunchie, belt or handbag paired with a simple navy jersey dress and ankle boots. Navy is a versatile and flattering neutral that will pare-back the zingy nature of the lime to make it more wearable. Did you know that navy is a neutral that appears in more colour analysis palettes than black or white?

Lavender and Butter Yellow (or 'Lemon' if you're old school)

Perhaps the most traditional of Spring colours, lemon has had a rebrand as 'butter yellow' by the fashion media and is a really key trend for 2025. Lavender and lemon are a match made in pastel heaven. This combination is perfect for those light Spring days when you want to feel easy-breezy. Wear a lavender wrap dress with lemon / butter yellow-rimmed sunglasses, mules and a crossbody bag. The soft purple and sunny yellow create a harmonious and uplifting look, ideal for brunch with girlfriends.

Coral and Teal

Coral and teal create a cheerful combination for Spring. Pair a coral button-down dress with a teal necklace and matching sandals. The coral hue brings warmth and energy, while the teal adds a cool, refreshing contrast. Complete the look with a wide-brimmed hat and a teal tote bag for a stroll in the park or swap in a chunky cardigan and smart faux leather backpack for work.

Burgundy and Golden Yellow

Burgundy has been giving main character energy since early Autumn and is still going strong. Wearing burgundy with another warm colour like yellow is perfect for the Spring season. A burgundy waistcoat with mustard yellow wide leg trousers makes for a striking ensemble. Add tan ankle boots and a matching belt to tie the look together.

These colour combinations will help you create stylish outfits that reflect your unique personality and the lightness of the Spring season. Just make sure you get your colours done with a colour analysis personal stylist first to help you choose shades that complement your skin tone, hair and eyes!
