4 tips for drying your clothes indoors
Now that the weather has turned chillier, air-drying laundry in the sun seems a distant memory. Here are some tips to help you dry your clothes effectively indoors:
- Place heavier items like jeans and jumpers higher up on a clothes airer so they dry quicker (heat will rise to the top)
- Leave enough space between garments to let air circulate (this will speed up drying)
- Give clothes a vigorous shake before placing on airers to take out the worst of the creases and save your ironing time
- Leave a window open, even if just a crack, to prevent build-up of moisture in the air leading to mouldy interiors. The airflow will help reduce drying time too.
